Report and RecommendationsThe Green Ribbon Commission's report is the culmination of a year of work by Commissioners and their staff, experts in the community, and City staff. The report is intentionally brief -- under 30 pages; the Commission feels strongly that it should be succinct, in common language, and accessible to all residents. The report describes a suite of climate protection actions that will allow Seattle to meet or beat the Kyoto Protocol greenhouse gas emissions reduction goal. It's intended to serve as a basis for the Seattle Climate Action Plan, slated for release in late 2006. After reading the report, let us know what you think at climate@seattle.gov and happy reading!
